The Cure er:
Engelsk new wave / post-punk / pop rockeband grunnlagt i 1976 i Crawley, West Sussex. Bandet ble opprinnelig kalt Malice i 1976, Easy Cure i 1977, og til slutt The Cure i 1978. Bandet har sett mange endringer i line-up, men Robert Smith har vært frontmann/låtskriver/vokalist/gitarist gjennom hele deres eksistens. Innført i Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame i 2019.
