Documentary about South African anti-apartheid politician Nelson Mandela. After his release from prison in 1990 Mandela was the leader of negotiations to abolish South Africa's policy of apartheid and campaigned to introduce multiracial democratic elections, in which he led the ANC political party to victory in 1994 and became the country's first black president.
