Limited vinyl LP pressing of the debut 1965 solo album released by British performer David Jones, best remembered as the lone non-American member of The Monkees (i.e. Davy Jones). Released a year before he climbed to stardom as a member of the pop quartet, this album capitalized on his charm, good looks and the popularity of his prior work as the Artful Dodger in the musical production of Oliver. Though this album was aimed at the teen market, it also contained enough showbiz pizzazz to appeal to adults as well. NOTE: Another British artist by the name of David Jones didn't want to be accidentally confused with this David / Davy Jones so he changed his name to David Bowie
