Chris De Burgh - Hands Of Man (CD)

We all know Chris de Burgh from that one song from 1986 ("Lady In Red"), but he is so much more than that. Since the mid 70's Chris proves he's a Songwriter with his own unique style and craft and he continues to do so on his 20th studio album of original new material: "The Hands Of Man".

The 15 diverse songs, which are divided in two distinct parts "Sunrise" and "Sunset" are each introduced by orchestral instrumentals. The album is recorded both at Chris' home studio in Ireland and at Mark Knopfler's British Grove facility in London, and has again been produced by Chris Porter (George Michael, Pet Shop Boys, Simple Minds).

Preluded by the lead single "The Keeper of The Keys" – "about the right of every human being to a life of dignity and to the right of education" – the album is a potent mix of versatility and quintessentially Chris de Burgh!
